Osceola Property Protection Association (OPPA) was formed in 1988 as a non-profit entity in the State of North Carolina with the sole purpose of preserving the natural beauty of Osceola Lake. Thanks to the involvement of the property owners around Osceola Lake, the pristine solitude of the has been conserved and sustained.

To support and encourage enjoyment of Osceola Lake, and promote community pride around this precious resource.

The most recent work completed by the assocation was the construction of the Virginia rail fence installed along North Lakeside Drive.
